"IT in 2008: Finding
a Path to Cost Savings & Efficiency."
For I/T Professionals from K-12, Community Colleges and Universities
FAEDS
2008 2008 Annual Conference
Caribe Royale All Suite Resort and Convention Center, Orlando,
Florida
September 28 – October 1, 2008
Dear FAEDS Conference Partners:
Mark your
calendar for September 28 -
October 1, 2008 Florida
Association of Educational Data Systems (FAEDS) is having its
2008 annual conference during
these dates in Orlando, Florida
and we look forward to seeing you there.
This is a
unique event where IT planners, decision makers, and administrators
gather to share knowledge and exchange ideas. FAEDS is the only
organization that includes IT professionals for all of K-20 in the
State of Florida. Our membership includes CIOs and IT Directors
representing Florida's public schools, community colleges,
universities and the FL Department of Education. FCITL is also
participating as a supporting organization. As many of you have
experienced, it is a conference you can not miss, as it provides
tremendous value to corporate partners in the form of unlimited
networking opportunities.
The FAEDS
conference has grown significantly over the past several years.
Building upon our past success, we want to continue to improve not
only the conference but the overall experience for all members and
corporate partners.
This year,
we are planning an exciting and memorable conference again at the
beautiful
Caribe Royale
Orlando All-Suites Resort and Convention Center.
We hope you will continue to be a
committed and significant part of this event!
Below are
some of the highlights of this year’s event:
•
Centralized Conference Location
Orlando is a convenient location for your travel planning and the
Caribe Royale
Resort is close to everything. The hotel features spacious and
gracious all suite accommodations and a tropical outside atmosphere.
Along with several restaurants and lounges on the property, the
Resort also offers a fine-dining restaurant, the “Venetian
Room”, which has recently been awarded the prestigious AAA Four
Diamond rating. Please check their website at
http://www.cariberoyale.com/ for more details on the resort.
•
Partner Day
Because of
the overwhelming success of last year’s Partner Day, we are planning
an even bigger and better one day event this year. On Tuesday
September 30, 2008
the exhibit hall will be open from 8:30am to 5:30pm with no
concurrent conference break-out sessions scheduled. Partner Day is
dedicated for conference attendees to visit exhibits and interact
with our business partners. Participating corporations will also
have the opportunity to present their products and services in
various types of sessions depending on the sponsorship levels.
•
Signature Social Event
This
conference features many attractive social events. Through
thematic night events, scheduled lunches
and social hours, the corporate partners are offered high visibility
and exceptional opportunities for product discussions in a relaxed
and fun atmosphere which allows you to maximize your interaction
with conference attendees.
•
Great Sponsorship Opportunity
The FAEDS
annual conference offers corporate partners the opportunity to
market your products and services at a much lower cost than many
conferences, while promising a greater market lead in return! We
look forward to another year of increased member growth and
participation in the annual conference. Our members are engaged in
transforming the education enterprise through the innovative use of
technology.
In order
to better accommodate our corporate partners’ demand, FAEDS is once
again offering sponsorship opportunities in five categories with
“Premier” as the highest sponsorship level. Each sponsorship level
and its corresponding benefits are listed and described in the
registration materials available online at www.faeds.org. Please be
aware that the signature events, featured sessions and special
showcases are in short supply and will fill quickly. Preference will
be given to those who commit to sponsorships first. Please remember
to register for your space and sponsorships early. Because of
demand, sponsorship of events must be secured through a signed
sponsor form and returned to us via U.S. Mail or fax. Date and time
of receipt will determine the order in which requests are fulfilled.
Thank you
for your continued support of the Florida Association of Educational
Data Systems! If there are any questions or concerns, please contact
