Have you been looking for an excuse to tackle, or ask your staff to tackle, those old scary boxes in your office, garage and attic that have been filling up with all kinds of interesting "stuff"? This is your lucky day! NERDC's trusted assistant, Chris, has sorted out and organized all of the binders of papers and loose materials that constituted FAEDS history. In a fit of inspiration and energy, everything has been placed in a series of eight notebooks according to each item's category and subject matter. Here is where you come in and get to make your own individual contribution to this project! Upon careful inspection, there are some rather large gaps in our stockpile of material. This handout is an inventory of everything we have in our possession at this time. What we ask of you is to check your old files, look at your photo albums, go through "those" boxes and see if you happen to still have anything we can use to complete this collection. As you can see, much of what we need is from the early years of FAEDS. Of special interest are the Board of Director's minutes, newletters, and Conference programs or previews from FAEDS' first ten years. In the case of photographs, we have LOTS from the 1990 and 1991 Conventions and several from the 1979, 1989, and 1994 Conventions. If you haven't already, please take the time to look through these and label them (if you can). We are without pictures from a majority of these events, however, and are looking for photos or negatives! We have developed this concisehistory from the material we have on hand. Any additions you can make including events and activities in which you have participated or from which you have kept documentation would be greatly appreciated. Become a part of HISTORY!
